We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards. Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness. Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Train and mentor junior team members to foster a cohesive and skilled culinary team. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery. Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment. Strong background in food production, culinary arts, and food safety practices. Excellent team management and leadership capabilities. Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills to effectively lead and motivate staff. Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour
