Job Title: Chef
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing dishes, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent food experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and accurate food service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef, Line Cook, or in a similar culinary role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ensure that all food preparation and presentation meet the restaurant's standards and guidelines.
