Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a keen understanding of food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires excellent team management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive team environment. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients while managing inventory levels effectively. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes. Assist in the development of special events or catering services as required by the restaurant.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of kitchen staff. Creative flair with an eye for detail in food presentation. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff. A relevant culinary qualification is desirable but not essential.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
