We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to food safety, quality, and exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective team collaboration and communication. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth. Undertake all aspects of paperwork, stocktake's, ordering, to name but a few.

Experience



Proven experience in a Management role within a kitchen or restaurant setting. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Previous experience in School catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in the industry are preferred. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
