We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, safety, and production. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that high standards of food quality and safety are maintained while fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and other culinary team members. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served. Implement and maintain food safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote teamwork within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity are maximised.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
