The Old Orchards Cafe, is set to open at Pitlands Farm Holidays, a former working farm and a well established small family business - 8 delightfully presented holiday properties set in 25 acres of orchards, gardens and lakes, all wrapped in the picturesque Teme Valley of Worcestershire.

Creating a relaxed, friendly place to eat and drink in our beautiful setting is our vision. We're thinking home cooked breakfasts, fine barista coffees, light lunches, homemade cakes...the incessant creation of tempting new dishes. Is that you? If so, then you're on the same wavelength as us! You'll work with quality local ingredients, and our menu will have strong focus on homemade & homegrown, using fresh seasonal produce straight from our garden and orchards. It'll be a great way for you to show off your culinary flair, whilst also being that friendly happy person people want to see time and time again at their local Cafe.

Kitchen Skills Needed:

Experience of working in a busy kitchen - 2 years' experience Ability to remain calm under pressure in the kitchen. Experience in a range of culinary areas - food preparation, cooking, baking, excellent food presentation skills Creativity in menu planning, also able to work to menu specifications. Knowledge of HACCP Be responsible for the Food Safety Management System (SFBB) Keep food waste to a minimum.

Managerial skills needed:

Experience of managing a cafe, tea-room, restaurant or similar Managing staff rotas Placing orders/liaising with suppliers Stock taking/stock management Assist with staff training Oversee opening and closing times of the Cafe Ability to delegate tasks to others

Qualifications:

Full driving license due to our rural location - essential Level 2 Basic food hygiene - essential

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
