Salary: 33,000 per annum
An innovative Chef Manager is required to run this boutique contract at one of our Peterborough locations! Great opportunity to create wonderful dishes within a excellent kitchen environment. Managing a team of 15 members across the week. Monday to Friday working hours predominately.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join our team in Peterborough, United Kingdom. As the Chef Manager, you will lead our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
• Create innovative and appealing menus that cater to our customers' preferences and dietary requirements
• Manage inventory, control costs, and optimise food wastage while maintaining quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and health and safety regulations
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer experience and achieve organisational goals
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate
• Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar senior culinary role
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualification
• Food hygiene certification
• Excellent creative culinary skills with a passion for food innovation
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in food cost management and budget control
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in menu planning and development
• Proficiency in kitchen management software
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
