We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Chef Manager , you will play a pivotal role in menu creation, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and creativity.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Manage kitchen staff by providing training, supervision, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximise profitability.
Address any issues or concerns that arise within the kitchen promptly and effectively.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity among kitchen staff.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines with a passion for food preparation.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
