We are seeking a passionate Full Time Chef to join us at our relatively new Bistro in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working in a busy kitchen environment and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring food safety standards are met, and working together as part of a small team. attention to detail will play a key role in food presentation. The role will involve some pot washing & kitchen cleaning. You must be hard working, enthusiastic but most of all reliable. Immediate start available for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the Bistro's menu
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and weekly specials.
Handle any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly.
Assist in stock control and ordering
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
Excellent team player
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
Ability to work efficiently
Must must reliable, trustworthy, have excellent time keeping and be flexible
