Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and menu specifications.
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure consistent supply of ingredients.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Conduct training sessions for new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
