We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment. Develop and implement menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and hygiene practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels. Maintain high standards of culinary excellence in all dishes served.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising a kitchen team, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. Extensive knowledge of food production processes and techniques. Strong culinary skills with experience in various cooking styles and cuisines. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and guests.
