The Role

We're seeking a talented and passionate part-time chef to join our kitchen team at Moghhe Lounge. You'll be instrumental in delivering the high-quality food experiences our customers have come to expect, working approximately 20 hours per week across our operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to our premium standards Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings Maintain our 5-star food hygiene standards Prepare corporate catering orders including Pizza's, Burgers, Charcuterie, Paninis, sandwiches, and more Work efficiently during service periods, maintaining consistency and quality Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer experiences Manage stock and ingredients effectively, minimizing waste Support special events and themed experiences

What We're Looking For - Essential

Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant, cafe, or similar hospitality environment Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality Passion for creating exceptional food experiences Flexibility to work across our operating hours (Mon-Sat 8am-9pm, Sun 9am-2pm) Team player with excellent communication skills Commitment to our values of quality, community, and making life better

Desirable

Experience with charcuterie and artisan food preparation Knowledge of local Cornish produce and suppliers Creative flair and interest in menu development Experience with corporate catering or event food preparation
