We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food presentation and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food production, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, developing menus, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Please note the position is for Fridays and Saturdays.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning safely
Lead by example in promoting a positive team environment centred on hospitality excellence
Qualifications
Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food production and restaurant service
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
