Responsibilities



Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, presentation, and service standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A creative approach to menu development and presentation of dishes. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable.
