We have a perfect venue with a small but capable kitchen, BBQ area and extensive beer garden.
The pub has had a recent refurbishment and this will be ongoing in the months to come.
You will have a flair for creativity and excellence in food production.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen operations, assisting with menu planning, stock control and kitchen hygiene are the pinnacle of your role!
Aside from the traditional pub menu we also catering for functions & events on site on a regular basis which is becoming more popular in our functions area.

Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in training new kitchen personnel on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
