About the Role
As Chef, reporting to the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents. You'll be a key player in our catering team, working closely with colleagues across the home to create a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and delivery of nutritious, well-presented meals.
Ensure all food preparation and hygiene records are accurately maintained.
Cater to individual dietary needs with care and attention.
Work with residents to understand their preferences and satisfaction with the meals.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain quality and consistency.
Uphold high standards in food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene (Desirable)
Minimum 2 years of experience in catering or kitchen environments
Previous experience in a care home setting is a plus
Solid knowledge of food safety and health regulations
Skills & Personal Qualities:
