Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in the development of special events or themed menus as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is essential.

Pay: From 11.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
