You will be responsible for cooking, food preparation, and helping maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety. This is a 4 day week 3 day of position
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency on every dish.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Support kitchen staff as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a chef or cook, ideally in a pub or casual dining environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
