We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of culinary excellence while fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that food quality and presentation meet our high standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Excellent team management abilities, with experience supervising kitchen staff. Effective leadership skills to motivate and inspire the culinary team. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, fostering collaboration between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
