The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences, overseeing kitchen operations, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food is served.

Duties



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes that reflect current culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
