Imposter Group are seeking passionate and skilled chefs of all levels to join our ever-growing Birmingham team. With a big focus on seasonality and fresh produce across the group the roles give chefs the opportunity to flex their cookery skills in fresh food kitchens where every dish is cooked to order. The focus across the group is on food quality and you won't have to spend hours on a laptop or supervising other chefs, it's small teams and all we ask for is passion for cooking and commitment to quality and standards.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the Group Head Chef in kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This positions are ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment along with a commitment to food quality.

We like all our full-time staff to have a good work/life balance so offer the role as a 4 day working week between Thursday and Sunday ensuring 3 days off in a row every week. Free meals come as standard and 20% off at our other venues.

Service charge is split equally amongst the team and is very lucrative due to the small number of staff. In the past three months it has equated to an extra 400 per month per person dependent on site.

Duties

Daily kitchen operations and food production. Help in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for dishes. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Handle any issues that arise within the kitchen promptly and effectively.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a passion for food production and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members efficiently. Capability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation. A proactive approach to problem-solving and helping others succeed in their roles.
