We run a fast-paced and high output bar and restaurant kitchen on Milford Waterfront which serves a varied and tasty menu to our customers. We have a strong focus on fresh fish, meat and poultry with our Chefs needing to be competent at both prepping, cooking and presenting an excellent plate of food.

We are a family run and operated business and only ever employ people who are friendly, happy and always tackle a challenge with a smile on their face.

We are looking to recruit experienced Chef's of all levels to join our dynamic kitchen team!

You will have experience in a similar kitchen environment and feel you have a load of ideas and dishes you can bring to our kitchen to amaze our customers! We are wanting someone full of enthusiasm, an upbeat attitude and willing to really stuck in and work as part of a great team!

Candidates would need to be flexible with a rota which covers a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The successful applicant would be rewarded with a salary appropriate to their experience along with 28 days annual leave (pro-rata).

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen. Assist in managing kitchen operations and supervising team members during service. Collaborate with staff to maintain a smooth workflow and high-quality food production. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.

Proven kitchen experience and culinary skills Strong cooking abilities with a focus on food preparation Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Background in hospitality and restaurant environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
