We are seeking talented and passionate Chefs to join our culinary team at Big Blue Hotel. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and food service management.
Manage inventory control processes to minimise waste and ensure proper stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with other departments for catering events and special functions.
Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items based on seasonal ingredients.
Skills
Knowledge of food production techniques, food handling, and safety standards.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts and hospitality.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team.
