The purpose of this role is to manufacture our formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards. Responsible for delivering manufacturing production performance targets by following agreed operating procedures and actively participating in continuous improvement methodologies to improve performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, HSE and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Batch processing; Weighing, dispensing & mixing chemicals, using various methods & equipment to produce a wide range of Automotive products.
Follow approved methods, standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice.
Ensure all batch documentation is completed and signed off in line with standard operating procedures and Work instructions.
Carry out in process batch testing/quality tests.
Data entry to maintain accurate stock records and also Stock takes.
Chemical stock control.
Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping
Participate and contribute to daily briefings, Redzone
Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities
Person Specification
Manufacturing experience of weighing & mixing chemicals
Ideally having experience in a COMAH environment.
A good level of Maths and English
Computer literate, with ability to input data to excel spread sheets and word reports.
A valid Fork Lift Truck licence
Training for this role will take place on either a morning or day shift. Following completion of training, the successful applicant will be required to work our PM shift (13:50 - 00:00 Monday to Thursday)
