About the Role
In this lab-based role, you'll be responsible for conducting a range of standardised tests used across the fuel and lubricants sector, contributing directly to R&D projects. You'll interpret test data, maintain lab equipment, and ensure safe, clean lab practices are followed. Key Responsibilities
Perform standard oxidation and corrosion testing, including:
, as required Record, analyse and report test results in line with project timelines
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
Collaborate with internal teams and support customer-focused research
Uphold health, safety and ISO quality standards within the lab
What We're Looking For
Ideally hold a degree in
Chemistry
or a closely related scientific field
Experience or interest in
oxidation testing
, ideally within
automotive, fuels or lubricant
sectors (preferred but not essential)
Strong
time management
and
organisational
skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
A team player with good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Salary & Benefits
Salary:
26,000 - 32,000 (depending on experience)
