Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the organisation, ensuring financial health and sustainability. This leadership position requires a strong background in financial management, accounting, and organisational skills and ideally experience of working in a Multi Academy Trust or other educational environment, to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Duties



Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining accurate financial records. Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors. Provide strategic insights to the executive team regarding financial performance and opportunities for growth. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the organisation's financial health.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or in a similar senior financial management role. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Expertise in financial accounting and reporting within a corporate environment. Knowledge and understanding of the Academy Handbook Experience of working in a Multi academy trust or other educational establishment is desirable Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organisational skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are preferred. Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset to drive business success. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 64,691.00-71,330.00 per year
