Homes England is the government's Housing and Regeneration Agency, working with public and private partners to create high-quality homes and thriving places for everyone. The new government has put housing, regeneration, and local growth at the heart of its long-term plan: delivering 1.5 million homes this Parliament, including the largest affordable housing programme in a generation. Achieving this requires strong local democratic support and a commitment to social equity. To meet these ambitions, Homes England is launching a National Housing Bank, combining its powers, partnerships, land, funding, and expertise to drive delivery.
About the Role:
The Chief Regional Delivery Officer will maximise the delivery of housing and the creation of new, expanded and/or regenerated places in line with national and local ambitions for growth and devolution across the country. You will be accountable for developing, accelerating and ensuring the provision of regionally based delivery activities to the highest standards, driving confidence in the Agency's efforts to achieve successful place-based outcomes across a broad portfolio of projects and partnerships.
The Individual
The successful candidate will need to evidence capability in the following areas:

• Knowledge and experience of Regional/Local Delivery and Place-Based activities to ensure efficient, directorate-wide delivery and inform strategic response.
• Experience working with local/national government, providing advisory and partnering capabilities and supporting the translation of strategic intentions to frontline delivery, in line with organisational missions/priorities.
• Experience working with sectoral partners to shape, unlock and accelerate delivery.
