Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation abilities, to effectively communicate with both children and parents. This role requires a passion for child development and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with families.
Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of
public law child care cases
, including care proceedings, adoption, special guardianship, and emergency protection orders. Represent clients incourt hearings
, including advocacy where appropriate. Advise and support clients with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring their rights are protected. Draft legal documents such as applications, statements, and other court-related paperwork. Liaise withlocal authorities
, social services, barristers, and other external parties. Maintain accurate case records and comply withLegal Aid Agency
requirements. Keep up to date withchild care law legislation
, case law, and procedural changes. Contribute to team meetings and support colleagues where required.Requirements
Solicitor with 1 year PQE is required Child panel accreditation would be advantageous but not essential Must be specializes in Public Law Care Proceedings The role is based in Stafford and would be office based ideally two days per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 24,420.00-40,302.21 per year
