Child Support Assistant - Term Time (Part-Time, Temporary)

The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Child Support Assistant to work closely with a child with a physical disability. This role involves providing one-to-one support to enable the child to fully participate in all aspects of pre-school life, ensuring their needs are met and their potential is maximised.

Hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 9:00am - 12:00pm Thursday: 9:00am - 3:00pm (Term-time only)

Duration:

Temporary role until

July 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support as required Assist the child in accessing activities, play, and learning experiences Encourage independence and confidence in daily tasks Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and therapists Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times

Skills & Experience:

Experience working with children, preferably with additional needs Understanding of supporting children with physical disabilities Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided at our expense)
