Child Support Worker - Ruislip (Full-Time)

We are currently recruiting a committed

Child Support Worker

for a specialist school in

Ruislip

, supporting students with severe and complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and non-verbal communication needs. This is a

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with PMLD, including those who are non-verbal and wheelchair users Assist in delivering engaging, accessible activities that promote learning, independence, and emotional development Work alongside teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child Support with personal care and administer medication where required Build positive, trusting relationships to create a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

Full-time availability (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:00pm) Confident supporting children or young adults with complex needs or PMLD Experience within SEND or care settings (references required) Hold or be willing to apply for a Child Only Enhanced DBS Local to Ruislip or able to commute reliably Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach
