About the role:
To lead on the provision of a childcare business support service in Powys by
developing new provision, and extending, sustaining and developing existing provision.
To support childcare providers to understand their regulatory requirements with regards Care Inspectorate Wales National Minimum Standards.
To work with a variety of services and agencies to develop robust support for registered childcare provision in Powys.

What you will do:
1. Provide quality support to registered childcare providers in Powys. Supporting them to understand the National Minimum Standards.
2. To coordinate packages of childcare business support to new and existing childcare providers in Powys, on a needs lead basis.
3. Work as a team to support the development of new childcare provision, extend and sustain provision in areas identified within the Powys Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
4. To provide line management, supervision, appraisal and support to the business support workers.
5. To support the continued successful roll out of the Childcare Offer Wales.
6. To support Family Information Service to ensure the childcare database is effective and kept up to date.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: 37,035.00-38,626.00 per year
Expected hours: 14.5 per week
