Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship - Alphabet Corner Nursery

Shoots Training are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Alphabet Corner Nursery.


Alphabet Corner Nursery have a garden area and 5 rooms that are free flow. You will be caring for children from birth and 5 years.

Your duties as an apprentice will include:

Setting up the rooms in morning, planning and preparing the day's activities, and assisting in creating a stimulating environment. Will be tidying away at the end of every day, and overseeing general housekeeping duties. Undertaking all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, toileting and assist with feeding. Attending monthly staff meetings and undertaking ongoing training. You will learn the role of a practitioner with guidance. Once ready, will be allocated a small key group of children. You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times, and that children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to join our team, you will need to show a willingness to learn and be able to work alongside our SENCO and other colleagues.

Hours;

Alphabet Corner Nursery is open from 7:30am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work between 37.5 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed

Requirements;

You ideally will have GCSE Grades A-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent
To be able to obtain a clear DBS
