Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Tweenies Day Nursery

Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Tweenies Day Nursery at their Evesham setting as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.


Childcare isn't the easiest thing to arrange, so let us take that stress away from you. Tweenies Day Nursery has been a leading nursery school in Evesham since 1986. We aim to make your child's experience of nursery a fun and exciting one in which they can build confidence in themselves and their individual abilities by learning through play.


We pride ourselves on having a very low staff turnover and this reflects in how happy and settled the children are when they are here. They are more comfortable when the same faces are there each day to greet them.


We have a bright two story building which is perfect learning place for your little ones, we have an enclosed outdoor baby garden especially for them, and we have a large garden for the older children.

Your duties and Responsibilities will include;

Learning the role of a nursery practitioner with the view to becoming a key worker. Support the key workers and shadow their daily routines Working with a group of children babies to 5 years of age Working as part of a team Liaise with parents Input with the daily routine and curriculum Assist with setting up daily activities Assist with all aspects of personal care Responsible for safeguarding the children in their care

Requirements;

A Level 2 childcare qualification is desirable, or you must have experience in a similar role You must be able to gain a clear DBS You ideally will have GCSE Grades A-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills

Hours;

Tweenies Day Nursery are open from 07.30am to 18.00pm Monday to Friday Working hours will be 25-40 hours per week and shift patterns will be discussed.
