Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Bracken Place Nursery

Shoots Training are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification with Bracken Place Nursery.


At Bracken Place Nursery we cater for children from the ages of 3 months - 5 years. Our baby rooms are for children aged 3 - 18 months and is located on the first floor. We also have a dedicated sleep room. Our toddler room is for children 2 and 3 years which prepares them for their transition into the preschool room from the age of 3 - 5 years. The preschool room has a covered decking area, large outdoor play area and garden

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children. Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive. Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children's development and well-being. Observe and assess children's development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans. Support children's personal care needs. Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming pre-school. Collaborate with pre-school team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors. Attending staff meetings

Requirements;

Level 2 childcare qualification is desirable - or a good level of experience in a nursery setting You must be able to gain a clear DBS, Having GCSE's A-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e functional skills are desired but not essential

Hours;

The successful candidate will be required to work 45 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed Bracken Place Nursery is open from 08:00-18:00
