Shoots Training are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Rabbit Patch Day Nursery.

Your duties as an apprentice will include:
Promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children aged 3 months-5years
Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and support individual needs
Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children
Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with statutory guidance
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and data protection policies
Support children with additional needs, ensuring inclusive access to learning opportunities
Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to implement tailored support strategies
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusive practices throughout the setting
Build and maintain positive relationships with families and carers
Communicate regularly regarding children's development, achievements, and well-being
Encourage parental involvement in the learning process and setting activities
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and professional environment
Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices
Engage in continuous professional development and reflective practice
Maintain accurate records, including observations, assessments, and safeguarding documentatio
Support the day-to-day organisation of the setting, including routines, transitions, and events
Uphold all policies, procedures, and standards set by the organisation and regulatory bodies
Hours;
Rabbit Patch Day Nursery is open from 7:30am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday
The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 36 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
Requirements;
Level 2 childcare qualification is desirable, or a good level of experience in a similar role
You ideally will have GCSE Grades A-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent First Aid qualificaiton would be desirable
To be able to obtain a clear DBS
Being able to travel or avoiding public transport, due to the rural location of the nursery
