Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Children's Ark

ShootsTraining are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Children's Ark as a Key Person - Nursery Practitioner


The Children's Ark in Pendeen, provide high quality childcare and early years education for pre-school and babies: children birth to around 30 months


Leaving your child at the Ark is like leaving them with family. You can trust us to care for your child and to do whatever we need to do to keep them safe, happy and learning. Each child has a key adult who will be their main carer and with whom they will become closest. Your child will also have lots of fun, indoors and outdoors, playing and learning with a variety of different friend

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Key person for small children building strong relationships with the children and family Complete online journals for the children Meeting the care needs of the children including assisting at feeding times and all aspects of personal Care including toilet training Assist with implementing and setting up the daily activities Support the children with all of their emotional needs Messy and outdoor play It will take part in trips and outings to the park to the theatre and across the grounds and hanging out with the animals Use your imagination daily, by being expressive, creative and caring. Be part of a team, with colleagues who build a supportive environment. Submerge yourself in a working week where no day is ever the same Help children explore their full potential, develop new skills and grow

Requirements;

A Level 2 childcare qualification is essential You must be able to gain a clear DBS GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent are essential

Hours;

Children's Ark Nursery is a term time only nursery and is open from 08.30am - 16:00pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week
