Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - St Johns Preschool

Shoots Training are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship with St Johns Preschool at their Poole setting.


St Johns Preschool are able to accomdate children from the ages of 2 yrs to 4 and a half years


We use sand and water, along with lovely outside play areas, with slides, climbing, provide learning through play - and are in a church building


We have been open 52 years, have 2 rooms and currently 50 children although registered to take 60 maximum and every Friday, we pack the room away

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

You will be a key person and support the key children in the nursery You be opening and closing, develop and communicate partnerships with parents, health and wellbeing of children catered for. You will support with all aspects of personal care - snack time, preparing room, preparing activities - outside play.

Hours;

This nursery is open all year-round; from 08.00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.

Requirements;

A level 2 chldcare qualification would be desirable Must have valid and relevant first aid and food hygiene qualifications At least 2 years' experience of working in a similar role You must be able to gain a clear DBS Have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
Good standard of written and spoken English would be preferred Although there are good local bus inks but being abe to drive would be an advantage
