Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Kids Love Nature, Avon Heath

Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Kid's Love Nature's Avon Heath setting as a Level 3 Apprentice.


The setting is located in Avon Heath Country Park and opened in 2012. The setting boasts a large outdoor area and use of Avon Heath Country Park accommodating children aged 2-5 years old.


The setting benefits from 300 acres of stunning heathland, in addition to features two beautiful classrooms and a one acre private garden with woodland, veggie garden, supersized sandpit, fire pit, pond, mud cafe, outdoor classroom and 4 resident chickens.


This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team in a fantastic setting.

Your Duties and Responsibilities will include;

To work effectively as part of a team To be involved in the planning of activities for the children Communicating with parents and ensuring that the children's records are accurate and up to date Interacting with the children and encourage the children to participate in the activities Creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere for the children to flourish Supporting with personal care and changing nappies Preparing snacks Helping to keep the setting clean and tidy

Qualities Required;

The ideal candidate will need to be a great team player, confident and outgoing and must be willing to carry out a variety of tasks. You must also you must be imaginative, creative and be committed to a career within Childcare.

Requirements;

To obtain a clear DBS To have GCSE Grades A-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills

Hours;

Working hours will be full time with shifts between 8am and 5pm. You will work a minimum of 30 hour per week with shift patterns to be discussed
