About Us

The 3 O'clock Club is an exciting new wraparound childcare service from Live It & Get Active, providing fun, safe, and active after school care for children aged 4-11. Launching in September 2025 across two locations, our mission is to support working families while enriching children's afternoons with play, creativity, movement, and wellbeing.

The Role

We're looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Childcare Assistants to join our growing team. You'll help create a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can relax and enjoy themselves after a busy school day. You'll assist in delivering fun activities, preparing healthy snacks, and ensuring children are cared for in line with our high standards of safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities including crafts, games, and physical play Possibly collect children from their school setting and bring them to the wrap around club Maintain a safe, caring, and supportive environment Assist with daily setup, routines, and tidying up after sessions Prepare and serve healthy snacks in line with dietary needs Communicate with parents, carers, and school staff Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour policies

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or youth setting (desirable) A warm, positive attitude and passion for childcare Good communication and teamwork skills Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
