Job Description

As a Wraparound Care Assistant at CMXSC, you play a vital role in creating a safe, secure and engaging environment for children during wraparound care sessions.

Your passion for working with children and showing commitment to their well-being will contribute to the success of our wraparound care provision. You will be working in a school in Colchester during the below hours.

Hours:

Breakfast Club 7:30am to 8:40 am

After School Club 15:00 - 18:00 or 15:00 - 17:00

Monday to Friday. Term time Only.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in organising and supervising activities during wraparound care sessions. Assist in managing attendance, fees, and parent queries. Create and foster a safe and inclusive environment for children to thrive. Engage with children in play-based activities both indoors and outdoors. Assist with the planning and preparation of activities, including setup and clean-up. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the wraparound care setting. Support the team in ensuring the setting is Osfted compliant. Ensure every child has an enjoyable time and is fully included in all activities. Provide care and compassion to all participants at all times.

Essentials:

A valid Enhanced DBS Fun, Kind and Caring Nature. Childcare or Primary Education qualification or Experience in working within an educational setting Experience of working with children

Desirable Experience:

Level 2 Award in Childcare and Education OR Diploma for the Early Years Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate Paediatric First Aid Certificate Safeguarding Certificate
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
