About Us:

Smiles Nurseries Ltd is a trusted and growing childcare provider committed to nurturing the development and happiness of children across Leicestershire. We operate four vibrant Before and After School Clubs, a caring Pre-School, and a well-established Day Nursery - and now we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead and grow our exceptional team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership, direction, and operational oversight across all settings.
- Ensure all services are fully compliant with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety
- Support and mentor setting managers and staff.
- Lead on quality improvement and service development initiatives.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Liaise with parents, schools, local authorities, and stakeholders..
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service provision in line with Smiles' ethos and statutory framework.

About You:

- Experience in an operational or area management role within the early years or education sector.
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence (multi-site travel required).
