Childcare Playworker
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving and reliable Childcare Playworker for our busy after school club which is based at Inchture Primary School in the village of Inchture, roughly mid-way between Dundee and Perth.
The club operates Monday to Friday from 2:45pm - 5:45pm during term time.
Additional overtime may be available for breakfast club (7:45am - 9:15am).
Our aim at all times is to ensure the children in our care receive a fun, rewarding and inclusive experience in a safe environment. You should therefore be comfortable and enthusiastic about engaging with Primary and some Nursery-aged children in a variety of games and activities. Other duties will include providing a healthy snack, planning of activities, monitoring safety and sign-in protocols, and other duties as required.
Experience in childcare and SVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification, or equivalent, would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be required to successfully complete a Disclosure Scotland PVG check prior to starting employment and register with SSSC with a commitment, if necessary, to undertake SVQ Childcare Level 3 qualification after commencement of employment.
