Open Call - Expression of Interest: Childcare Practitioner Early years -

20 hours post - Real Living Wage

Brave Church seeks to appoint a Childcare Practitioner to support Brave Church Preschool and Nursery. This is a unique place which exists to partner with families of any faith or none, in helping children from 6 months to 4 years to reach their fullest potential. We believe God created us to reflect His greatness and for His glory, therefore we have a passion to help children develop as the unique people that He created them to be. We deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework by providing a fun-filled, enabling environment where children can freely explore and be challenged. Bearing the uniqueness of each child in mind, with God at the centre, we intentionally foster positive relationships which help children actively learn, whilst being confident and strong.

We would like to hear from suitable candidates, expressing interest with relevant skills and

qualifications on the following elements:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 or above childcare qualification A good understanding of the EYFS (and the updated EYFS), the Birth to Five Matters Framework and be able to use this to plan activities for the children Enthusiasm and passion for providing high quality childcare Previous experience of working within an Early Years Setting A commitment to support the Christian ethos of Brave Church Pre-School and Nursery
Experience in:

Childcare - 2 years minimum Safeguarding/Additional Needs: 1 year (preferred)
Term Time only.
