We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated qualified Level 3 or above Childcare Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of children within our childcare setting. Duties
Provide attentive and personalised care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Support children with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's needs and development
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the childcare setting
Assist with organising educational outings and activities outside the nursery
Support management in maintaining high standards of childcare practice
Skills
Proven experience with children, including childcare or nursery experience
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Ability to build trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate patience in challenging situations
