Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified level 2/3 childcare practitioner to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment.

MUST BE QUALIFIED

we are a childminder working from 2 large cabins within the garden. One for younger children and the other for the older children. So we are more like a small nursery. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere while supporting the family's needs. This role involves not only childcare but also the opportunity to teach and engage with children in meaningful ways.

Must have level 2/3 in childcare

and a minimum of 1 years experience working with children and delivering the EYFS.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Assist with homework and educational tasks, encouraging a love for learning Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up after activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Skills

Experience in childcare and demonstrating a strong understanding of child development Excellent teaching skills, with the ability to engage children in educational activities Valid driving licence and experience driving Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both children and parents Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the varying needs of children

Pay is dependent on experience starting at minimum wage
