We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership , and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and their families. As a Care Practitioner, you will play an essential role in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of each child.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive care and supervision to children within the nursery environment.
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that support early childhood development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviours and encouraging children to develop social skills.
Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and communicate updates to parents as necessary.
Drive initiatives that promote health, safety, and well-being within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery environment.
