Job Description

We are a private run nursery offering a high standard of care for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. We are looking for experienced practitioners who love working with children, who want to make nursery days fabulous for the children and who want to work outdoors as much as possible with the children, this position is both challenging and rewarding and does require hardworking, passion, determination and out the box thinkers.

Our nursery cares for children in a warm and friendly environment, we work with the pre-birth to three curriculum and also in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council to deliver the Curriculum for Excellence.

Our ideal candidate will have:

SCQF level 7 qualification (e.g. HNC, SVQ3) in Childcare and Education (

ESSENTIAL

) SSSC registration and able to undertake a PVG check
Experience of working in a childcare setting and working with local curriculum A real passion for Early Years and Childcare Good knowledge of Childcare documents An enthusiastic & positive can-do attitude The ability to work as part of a team within a child care setting Excellent communication skills

This is a permanent position working 32-40 hrs per week over 5 days . Monday to Friday (4/5 days).

PVG cost will be paid by the applicant. This will be reimbursed by the company only after permanent employment starts. 12 week trial must be completed and both parties agree to continue employment.*
