Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and childcare, looking to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced professionals, developing your skills in managing and supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment. Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills in early childhood education. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to learn and play. Drive initiatives that support children's growth, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
Requirements

A keen interest in early childhood education and childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous, But not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to manage small groups of children effectively. A willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic working environment. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Please Note- if you do not currently hold a Level 2 Diploma in Early Years, you will need to complete the training before the job role

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: From 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
