Childminder home base setting is looking for childcare practitioners!!!!!!

Little Bees was open in January 2013 and cared for lots of children for the last 10 years. After 10 years I have decided to open a bigger nursery (will take some time to make it happen). Little bees now it's a small home setting.

Locations: Stoke Newington N16. Closed to Stoke Newington overground. Manor House/ Finsbury Park Station

Hourly Rate: Between 13.00 and 15.00 (depending on experience and qualifications)

6 weeks holiday

Bank Holidays off

Start Date: As soon as possible

Part time job: Monday to Wednesday (with possibility to become full time job)

The role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for their development. This role is essential in supporting the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote early childhood development. Provide care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage with children through play, storytelling, and interactive learning experiences. Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the children's needs. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualities and qualifications:

An Early Years/childcare qualification Level 2/3 or above would be a bonus. If you don't have Level 2 that's ok. Good written and spoken English communication skills. Understanding of the EYFS (not necessary training and course will be provided Able to liaise with and develop good relationships with parents.
