Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, fostering their development through play and structured activities. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families and ensuring that children receive the care and attention they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to dietary restrictions as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised environment, including play areas and equipment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Assist with daily routines such as nap time, personal hygiene, and transitions between activities. Observe and document children's behaviour and development for assessment purposes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred but not essential. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of child development principles is an advantage. First Aid and CPR certification is desirable but can be obtained upon hiring. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of families.

Pay: 22,880.00-28,408.23 per year
